Welcome to my home page! The reason I keep this site up is basically to repay the many people who have provided me good information through their personal sites. I cannot count the number of times where I've been trying to figure out how to get some code to work or find a route through the backcountry and been rescued by a random blog someone posted, just sitting out there to be read free of charge. I guess this is my attempt to keep that whole wheel of karma turning.

My intent is not to flood the internet with redundant information, though. If someone's already filled alI the informational gaps in a specific topic, why bother posting about it? I try to only provide my own documentation/examples where I've found a lack thereof. The same thing goes for backpacking routes and everything else.

If you're a backpacker, my hiking page has a variety of routes ranging from very easy to very difficult. If you're a coder, I've provided a lot of my own functions and examples that go from general/introductory to advanced/esoteric. My thesis is very esoteric itself, but there are also some chapters that provide a good introduction to CMOS and CCD sensors.
